Hi, I am Andre Kuhlenschmidt and I am a second year Ph.d. student under Jeremy Siek at Indiana University. I am currently working on implementation techniques for sound gradually typed programming languages.

I am looking forward to hearing about the cutting edge research others are doing, meeting other computer scientists, and sharing my own progress in research. Conferences are one of the great opportunities that we have to participate in the research community, and to broaden our research interests. I am thankful to the NSF for helping support my travel expenses. I am excited to visit Rome, and I hope to see you at ECOOP 2016!
