ECOOP 2016
Sun 17 - Fri 22 July 2016 Rome, Italy

ECOOP 2016 does not hold a block at a particular hotel. To help you plan your trips, here are a few properties near the conference centre:

Hotel Walking to Conference Venue Rooms from
Hotel Santa Chiara 3* 9 mins [map] €120
Colonna Palace Hotel 4* 9 mins [map] €121
International Palace Hotel 3* 13 mins [map] €127
NH Hotel Roma Vittorio Veneto 4* 20 mins [map] €169

You will often get better rate on Booking, Expedia or similar sites, especially by booking flight + accommodation together rather than separately.

A number of boutique hotels offer a limited number of rooms within walking distance from the conference venue. Some good options to look at are, e.g., Hotel Cosmopolita (from €151) and EXE Hotel della Torre Argentina (from €132).

The closest metro station to the conference venue is Barberini on the A line (~10 min walk). The area around the Termini and Repubblica metro A stops offers many option for (cheaper) accommodation, while still being close to the ECOOP venue (~20 min walk). Also, fancy guesthouses such as SuiteDreams have rooms starting from €286 per night.

If you’re willing to take the metro for a few stops, good areas to explore for housing options are San Giovanni/Re di Roma and Ottaviano (next to the Vatican).

When traveling on a budget, Bed & Breakfast places and guesthouses along the metro A line might be an option1. We can help you arrange shared housing as well: please register using our shared housing application form.

For any questions about accommodation in Rome, contact our housing chair Daniele D’Elia.

1. Guesthouses normally print an invoice while B&Bs provide you with a simple payment receipt. If your employer has strict rules for reimbursement, let us know before booking and we will help you figure it out.
