ECOOP 2016
Sun 17 - Fri 22 July 2016 Rome, Italy

Approaching ECOOP (by Titus Barik)Wed 13 Jul 2016

Hi everyone! I’m Titus Barik, a PhD candidate working with Dr. Emerson Murphy-Hill at North Carolina State University in Raleigh, NC, USA.

My research applies HCI and software engineering to build more productive and usable programming environments for practitioners. This year I’m able to attend the European Conference on Object-Oriented Programming (ECOOP) in Rome, Italy, thanks to generous travel support from the National Science Foundation.

This will be my first time at ECOOP. I’m looking forward to meeting other researchers, building collaborations, discovering emerging research areas, and attending the ECOOP Summer School lectures to learn more about the formal and technical aspects of programming languages and tools.
