Approaching ECOOP (by ‎James Decker‎)Fri 15 Jul 2016

Hi there,

My name is James Decker, and I’m a first year grad student with Dr. Tiark Rompf at Purdue University studying Programming Languages. Our current research focuses on compiled query engines and generative programming. This will be my first ECOOP, as well as my first conference of any kind! I’m super excited to attend, and am greatly for the opportunity NSF has given me.

More than anything else, I’m excited to learn about the different ways in which people do research. I’m excited to see how other researchers approach problems, as well as to see the creative solutions they envision.

See you all there!
